• Confirm system operation and cycle through thermostat
• Measure supply and return water temperature
• Clean and level thermostat
• Clear flue of obstructions
• Verify proper exhaust
• Compare voltage and amp. draw on all motors to rating
• Lubricate fan motor and bearings
• Align blower belt
• Clean electrodes
• Replace oil filter
• Replace burner nozzle
• Adjust belts for proper tension
• Remove “Squirrel” cage fan and clean
• Remove pilot assembly and clean thoroughly
• Test ignition or pilot safety switch for operation
• Test door safety switch
• Remove burners from heat exchanger and clean thoroughly
• Adjust burner manifolds for proper combustion
• Vacuum inside heat exchanger compartments
• Inspect heat exchanger for cracks, holes and leaks
• Test operation of high limit fan control
• Examine all wiring and electrical connections; repair, cap or tape wiring as necessary
